School Discos
Our discos are available for all Schools and Child organisations.
At Flash Discos we aim to make our school discos that little bit more interesting than other mobile discos, if your disco is around St Valentine’s day, Halloween or Christmas we decorate our stand in appropriate decorations, if you’re having a fancy dress disco we can even come in fancy dress too!
We can perform a disco for the entire school although with previous experience at larger schools it makes sense to split the different age groups into separate discos.
For example a school disco starting at 4:00-8:00PM, Years 1 & 2 will have the first hour, with a 30min break then 5:30-6:30 for years 3 & 4, with another 30min break, then 7:00-8:00 for years 5 & 6.
The 30min break gives a chance for the younger children to leave the school before the older ones come charging in ready to party!
We interact with the children throughout the disco with our wireless radio microphones which give us control over the whole room, whilst playing games with the younger children to keep them entertained.
We understand that budget for smaller schools can sometimes be an issue, we have created a DIY disco package to overcome this so if you’re a smaller school why not try and do the disco yourself, with safe, easy to use equipment, why not give it a try. Schools receive a 10% discount on all our DIY disco packages.

Smoke Machine
A smoke machine is a great effect which can, if used sensibly, dramatically enhance the lights. Some venues do not allow the use of smoke machines as it can interfere with their fire alarm systems, this has never happened to us before, just to be safe check with your venue first.

Smoke machines are completely safe to use, a lot of people don’t like them as they say it can irritate people’s asthma, this is completely untrue we only use the highest quality smoke fluid which is water and glycerine based and completely safe to use. Years ago it used to be oil based but this was taken off the market due to being unsafe.
